My very 1st Momma's Day

So, today I FINALLY got to experience my very 1st Mother's Day.  I already feel so blessed to be a Mommy and to such an awesome Little Man every day.  But, I'll be honest, it was honoring to be recognized as a mother, in worship service and by well-wishes from friends and family.  We spent the afternoon strolling around Lake Morton, enjoying Mayfaire (despite the heat).  After a quick rest at home, we enjoyed each other's company doing some shopping.  We came back home and just relaxed.  My hubby and Little Man each gave me their cards, respectively.  Before I layed him down for the night, I told my little one how much I loved him and I was so thankful and blessed to be his Mommy, how he makes it so easy to love him.  How I have waited for this day, to be honored as a mother, and to realize how honored I am to BE a mother, each and every day!
